You can barely see the Santa Monica mountains in the background. Looking straight west out the jetty to the Marina del Rey breakwater. Sailboats returning to the marina. Looking SW towards Playa. They call this area "Toes Beach". Don't know why for sure. I heard that before they put the MDR breakwater in you could hang 10 toes over the end of your surf board when surfing. Hence the name. Looking due south at Toes Beach area. Looking NE down the bike path. Ballona Creek on the right, MDR jetty on the left. Next | Home
